There are three genetically distinct populations known in Australia; 1) A southern population from the Hervey Bay area, (2)  the central coast, and (3) Torres Strait. Within the NW territories, there are many local populations with limited or unknown connections to other populations in the region (bio.inspecta 2022). This profile covers the Kimberley population in Western Australia.
