Kiddi shrimp is caught along both Eastern and Western Indian coasts (Dineshbabu 2005)(Maheswarudu et al. 2015)(Pillai 2015). No information could be found about the stock structure or of an assessment being conducted thus a management unit regarding the West Bengal state is considered (CMFRI 2018)(CMFRI 2019)(CMFRI 2020). Other states are also covered: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnakata and Goa, and West Bengal.
