Longnose anchovy (Anchoa nasus) distributes in Eastern Pacific from San Juanico Bay, northern Gulf of California southward to Callao to Peru and perhaps further south. The commercial fisheries for this species are considered minor, being usually used as for bait (Froese and Pauly 2016). The stock structure is not known.
