Lane snapper

The Lane snapper is distributed off the east coast of the United States from North Carolina through the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea to the southeastern coast of Brazil. It seems the Brazilian population could be isolated from the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico unit (Silva et al. 2018). The stock structure of the Lane snapper in Nicaragua waters is not known. This profile refers to the Nicaraguan Western Central Atlantic Management Unit.
