The FIP is older than a year and has never reported a stage 4 or 5 result but has reported recent stage 3 progress within the past 6 months. The FIP remains D rated.

FIP Implementation	May 23	FIP activities undertaken 28 May 2023 — The FIP is conducting a review of secondary species using landing data from 2017- 2021; the review remains ongoing. 12 April 2023 — FIP held an initial stakeholder meeting to establish a management position for Indo mahi. At the meeting, the group discussed the preliminary actions for initiating the development of a harvest strategy. 1 December 2022 — A catch data review for FMA 718 has been made available along with some data for FMA's 572 & 573; the data available shows that cobia and mahi-mahi catch is less than 2% in FMA 718 12 July 2022 — FIP review on available catch data conducted; report made available 1 September 2021 — FIP has been collecting landings data on three UoA species and have scheduled a meeting towards the end of Q1 2022 to discuss next steps.
