3. FIP Implementation	Jul 23	FIP activities undertaken 12 July 2023 — The FIP held a meeting to discuss FIP progress and action planning for 2023; in May 2023, the IOTC adopted a conservation measure to protect seabirds and cetaceans from adverse fishing impacts. 15 May 2023 — The FIP attended the 14th meeting of the IATTC Scientific Advisory Committee; the 2022 annual observer report for the fishery in Antigua was made available. 17 January 2023 — FIP has developed a plan to reduce and reuse plastic out at sea onboard vessels 17 January 2023 — The FIP held their annual meeting at the beginning of 2023; participants discussed progress being made with safe handling training, a plastics reduction plan and data collection. 1 January 2023 — Data on ETP species interactions between November 2022- January 2023 has been made available.
