Flathead sole
This fishery was certified by the Marine Stewardship Council system in June 2010. Flathead sole are managed separately in the Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska by the North Pacific Fishery Management Council (NOAA, 2020). This stock is assessed on a biennial basis due to it being historically lightly exploited. A partial assessment was released in 2022, a full assessment was released in 2020.
