3. Improvements in Fishing Practices and Fishery Management	Dec 21	Verifiable improvement in policy/management and fishing practices 1 December 2021 — Increases to PI 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 scores based on increased information that none of the species that are captured as part of the UoAs fall in the category of primary species. 1 December 2021 — Increase to PI 2.3.3; Current levels of qualitative or quantitative information are adequate to estimate the impact of the UoA on ETP species. 1 December 2021 — Increase to PI 2.2.3 score - data from data log (2010-2021) sufficient to identify secondary species through catch composition. 1 December 2021 — Increase in PI 2.2.2 and 2.3.2; Mexican Official Norm 059-SEMARNAT prohibits the use, collection or possession on any of certain ETP species, including marine turtles and mammals. The norm also includes measures that aim to regulate the impacts on shark species within the EEZ.
